I have personally known Cynthia for 21 years. She has always been a fashionista at heart. I am very inspired by her becoming an entrepreneur and starting her online boutique. She currently lives in Manila and I was able to get a quick interview from her while she came to visit here in San Diego.
Here is my Q/A with Cynthia.
What inspired you to launch Bolero Bolero?
I've always had a passion for fashion. And my love for celebrity fashions.
What is the meaning behind the name?
Bolero Bolero is named after my favorite Latin dance Bolero. The dance is sexy and reminds me of the clothes.
What type of women do you have in mind wearing your clothes?
Women that is not defined by their look, but rather by her sexy, assertive, confident and cutting edge personality.
What are future plans for Bolero Bolero?
In the future I hope to bring brand awareness. I hope to develop a makeup line, and a shoe line.

Any plans for a fashion show to present your collection?
Yes, I was just talking about collaborating with a designer friend in Manila.
How did you get into fashion?
I've always been into fashion as long as I can remember. I studied fashion design in college.
Favorite place you have ever traveled to?
Thailand
Tell me about their style there.
Bangkok is a shopping paradise. Rather than being dedicated to a particular trend, it is a mix of all styles and genres. The myriad of styles on Bangkok streets represents different moods, subcultures, and movements. I love that Thai people always add a personal touch to their outfit especially when it comes to uniforms and the boring office wear.
