24-hours in Las Vegas

   Who says that you need more than 24-hours to have a great time in Las Vegas? Me, my sisters Dedee & Liza, Talia, and Lynda decided to go to Vegas for Labor Day weekend and here is everything we were able to do in that bit of time.
   As soon as we arrive to our hotel, we wasted no time in getting into our bathing suits and headed to the pool at the Cosmopolitan. The Bamboo Pool is a very modern-looking pool with a big showerhead in the middle of the pool, and they have delicious Margaritas at the bar. We were able to do some poolside drinking for about an hour or so, and then decided to go walk around the hotel. Since it was Lynda's birthday, she was feeling lucky and felt like testing her luck at the Roulette table. Dedee, Liza, Lynda, and myself were at the Roulette table while Talia played the slots. Luck was on our side, Lynda kept winning at the Roulette table and Talia won $250.00 at one of the machines!! We all kept playing since the more we kept winning, the more drinks kept coming our way...
   In the middle of doing our third shots at the Roulette table, security came with Talia because was she wasn't dressed appropriately. She was getting kicked out out of the gambling area for gambling in a bathing suit!! We thought it was the funniest thing because who gets in trouble for not wearing enough clothes in Vegas?...lol
   While Talia went back to the room to change, me and the girls decided to hang out at the Chandelier Bar and be mesmerized by the beautiful bar. It is one of the most elegant bars that I have ever been to...
   Once Talia came back from changing, she decided to treat us to lunch with her lucky winnings. We had lunch at China Poblano, a restaurant that serves noodles and tacos. I think it's a brilliant concept because the portions are small, so you're able to eat a variety of food and you won't get too full. I had a Lobster taco, Seta Taco, and Queso Fundido with a delicious Michelada. China Poblano is right across from the Marquee nightclub. Once we were done eating, we decided to buy alcohol and head back to our room. On our way to buy our liquor, we ran into our friends Angel, Jessica, Josh, and Mary Lou. They had just left The Marquee and were strolling around The Cosmopolitan before heading back for Benni Benassi at The Marquee.
   Once Dallas left, we started getting ready for XS. XS is a nightclub at The Encore and it's possibly the top 3-best nightclubs in Las Vegas, the other two would be Surrender and Tryst. Once we arrived to XS, luckily we didn't have to wait in the long line because our friend Julian had gotten us a table with bottle service, so we just went right to the front of the line. The club was so packed and going off. The opening set was Sultan & Ned Sheppard, which was my first time watching them live. Their set was really good and had the whole crowd dancing.  At 1am, David Guetta finally went on stage and opened his set with "Titanium" and the whole club went nuts!! I have never experienced such an amazing crowd. People were dancing everywhere and every track Guetta played, everyone sang along. To our surprise Michael Phelps went up on stage with Guetta and cheered on the crowd. The club didn't close until 6am and we had danced the whole time we were there!! Right after XS, we crossed the street and had some delicious Mulitas and Carne Asado tacos at Tacos El Gordo. There is nothing more satisfying then eating delicious, greasy Mexican food after a long night of dancing and drinking.
   We didn't get back to our hotel until past 7am. We literally took a 45-minute nap in our club clothes and then got ready to go to the airport. At the airport we were total zombies but we were happy that we had accomplished everything we wanted to in Las Vegas. We got to experience it all minus shopping and watching a show in Vegas....all in 24-hours. And THAT my friends....is how you do Las Vegas in 24-hours!!
